positive vibes

I have just come back from holidays visiting family where every single relatives goal is to fatten you up on yummy delicious highly fattening food. Yup . Thats my family.

I got home and was pleasantly surprised when my younger sister comes up to me after I get home from the gym one day and was like " have you lost any more weight?" " I don't know I've been too scared to check (since I got home from holidays)- why?" " Its justs that when you got back you looked skinnier, you know in the face and that"
Me: Big grin on my face. Serious points to my confidence right there, especially coming from my size 10 gorgous little sis.

I jumped on the scales, and no, no more weight loss. But no weight gain either!

Will have to go hard these coming weeks though, its a friends birthday and I really want to get under the 100kg mark for it! Lets see if I can do it!

Getting there

So after all this drama of parents and life I finally got round to jumping on the scales this morning.

To be honest I was dreading it, I havent been eating that great, not bad, just not the best, and I havent been doing much exercise as I'm trying to organise things at home and OMG it's so hot and sticky now anyways - do I really want to go get more hot and sticky?? anyways at least I have been swimming and not being a total slob.

But back to the scales. So jumped on. Closed my eyes and took a big breath- and guess what? I had to look twice! I have officially lost 4kgs ! YAY!

While 4kgs in 2 and a bit months isnt really something to be excited about, I mean I had hoped for some amazing results buy now, but really, slow and steady. I mean if I keep this up that means about 20kgs buy the end of the year- and who can complain at that??

The good thing is, what I'm doing, its stuff I can do for the rest of my life. No quick fix, no amazing shakes that as soon as I stop taking them I'll put all the weight on again. This is s-u-s-t-a-i-n-a-b-l-e. Which is far more important because this is a life style change. This is a forever change.
